Shopping Cart Instructions

To shop online, choose a department to browse in or search by keyword for products. Then add individual items to your shopping cart. You can view your cart or check out anytime you like. You can even save your cart as a wish list for future shopping! Click here to view our shipping and handling fees and sales tax information.

If you want your billing and shipping info to be saved for future purchases you can Create an Account the first time you make a purchase. If you create an account, you will just need to remember your login id and password to access your account for future purchases as your shipping and billing address information will be saved along with info about past orders. If you forget your account password, you can have it e-mailed to you from the account log-in page. When you visit the store to make future purchases, go to the Manage Account page and log in to use your saved shipping and billing information in the check out. (Note: your credit card information is not saved and must be entered each time you make a purchase.)

Payment Options:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover. For those of you who prefer to purchase offline, we also gladly process your order by phone or fax with a credit card or mail with a money order or check. When you complete your order in the store, choose the "fax" or "mail" payment option to print out an invoice to fax or mail in with your payment. Shipping & Handling Information:

Most orders are packed and shipped as quickly as possible, normally within 1-3 business days. Fabric is wrapped in plastic to protect it during shipping. United States Priority Mail is used for domestic orders.

Note: Shipping charges are estimates only. Shipping charges are based on weight, zone and insurance value. A receipt will accompany the package showing shipping charges incurred, if the amount is more than listed.

International and Overseas Shipping and Handling Fees
Please note: We are not responsible for the receipt of international packages. We send our international packages global priority via the United States Post Office. Upon request, tracking and insurance can be added at the applicable rate. With tracking and insurance, we can assist in tracking the request; however, we will not accept responsibility for receipt of the package. We ship Global Priority Mail to all countries within the Global Priority system. Shipments are billed at actual shipping costs plus $3.00 handling fee. In most instances, Global Priority Mail is less expensive than surface mail and arrives in approximately one to two weeks instead of six to eight weeks surface rate. SDhipments that are over 4 pounds or do not fit in the USPS large flat rate envelope will be billed as quoted by the United States Postal Service. We adjust the rate on your final invoice.
Non Global Priority Countries
To all countries without Global Priority we will ship via Air Mail and general take one to two weeks for delivery. Charges are by weight plus a $3.00 handling fee. We adjust the rate on your final invoice.

How Shipping Rates Are Calculated:

Grandma's Attic makes every effort to keep shipping costs down. Our shipping charges include shipping and handling, which means that charges include the actual cost of shipping your order and all costs associated with shipping that order including, but not limited to, postage fees, envelopes, boxes, packing materials, tape, labels, equipment necessary for processing orders (scales, software, dedicated printers, etc.), plus labor to process and package in a timely and cost-effective manner. Shipping rates quoted on your order may not be the actual shipping cost, as they will be manually adjusted for any considerable differences. For instance, if you are ordering a single pattern and the shipping is quoted at $6.95, we will adjust the price to reflect that a single pattern will not ship for more than $3.00. Sales Tax:

Oregon is a sales tax FREE state! Note: International orders (outside the United States) may be subject to customs duties and taxes.

Discounted Sale Items:

Shipping costs for discounted items are figured according to the full price of each item, and not at the discounted rate. Our web store figures shipping and handling according to the dollar total of the order, and we cannot change this feature. When discounted items are ordered, we will adjust shipping costs upon billing to reflect the non-discounted price of these items.

If you would like to place your order via telephone, please call toll free (United States only) 1-888-835-7397. If you have questions or concerns regarding an order, please have your order number ready when you call.

Wish List:

If you'd like to send a "hint" to someone about what you' d like to receive on a special occasion, or save a list of your favorite things for future shopping, our wish list is easy to use! Select the items you want into your shopping cart, then select Save Cart "Wish List". Enter your e-mail address and the e-mail address of the person you want to receive your "hint," including any message you want to send. The contents of your cart will be saved with an ID number that will then be e-mailed to both of you. You (or your friend) will be able to retrieve the contents of the wish list by returning to the site and clicking on "check out." Insert the wish list ID from your e-mail and the contents of the cart will reappear.

Store Policies:

Items other than cut yardage and copyrighted materials (i.e., books and patterns) may be returned within 30 days providing they are in saleable condition. The customer pays for returning shipping. Credit is issued for returned item only.

Privacy Policy: Grandma’s Attic Sewing Emporium promises to protect your privacy. We do not sell our mailing lists or share your personal information with anyone.

Block of the Month and Fabric Club Customers Please Note: We will ship your first Quilt Block or Fabric Kit to you at the time you place your order. Subsequent packets are mailed out on a scheduled date once each month. Your credit card is automatically billed at that time and you do not need to reorder these items. You may start or stop a Block of the Month or Fabric Club at any time.

If you discover packing errors or damaged merchandise, please notify us right away. We will advice you how to return these items for credit or replacement.
