Grandma's Attic hosts a wide variety of classes, from those for the novice up through advanced level material. Taught by well-qualified teachers, you will develop new skills, learn to use up-to-date equipment, and participate in class discussions.

Class - Simple Stitches and Beyond
Embroidery is fun and relaxing. Sit and stitch with Aunt Cheryl as she teaches you basic embroidery stitches. Suitable for all skill levels, you can be successful even if you've never threaded a needle. You will be making a page for a sampler book using a variety of stitches. Class - Sunbonnet Sue Block of the Month
If you love Sunbonnet Sue, you will absolutely adore this class. Becky will help you as you create a different Sunbonnet Sue block each month. She'll show you both traditional and fusible applique methods so you can choose the one you like best. Class - Terrie’s Total Crayon Technique
Bring your crayons and spend the day with Terrie. She'll teach you both of her techniques for using crayon on fabric--Melt and Blend and Brush and Blend. Then you can decide which technique is right for you. You'll also learn how to embellish with embroidery, or alternative embellishments if embroidery is not your thing. Class - Terrie's Two Day Crayon Workshop
In this comprehensive workshop, Terrie will teach you crayon skills. On Day 1, she will help you choose a project, then learn how to prepare a project, choose colors, and color on fabric. Day 2 shows you how to fine-tune your coloring and shading skills, with suggestions on how to embellish your project. Terrie Kygar, Instructor. Embroidery Club - Machine Embroidery with Alice
If you love free motion embroidery, you will love the opportunity to sew with Embroidery Artist Alice Morris each month. Her Free Motion Machine Embroidery Club explores embroidery techniques. Quilt Club - Stories of Oregon Towns and Founders 5
In our fifth session of Towns and Founders Quilt Club, we are continuing our focus on the towns and founders within the state of Oregon. Grandma Rachel will guide you through the fascinating history of these towns, how they got their names, their early history, and more. You'll receive quilt block patterns, an informational newsletter and other entertaining handouts. After each session, there is a fabulous FREE lunch of soup, salad and dessert.
