Class - Crayon Quilts the Melt-n-Blend Way
Terrie will teach you her Melt-n-Blend techniques for blending crayon into fabric as you create a beautiful Poinsettia. She will take you step-by-step through the process of coloring fusible applique pieces, choosing a background fabric, and putting all of the pieces together in a small wall hanging. Class - Sew Fun Upcycle Challenge Class
You're going to love participating in this fun project! On Friday, you will go shopping at a local recycle type store. Once you're there, you look for a textile project that you can improve upon with your own creative talent and skills. You'll plan out what you want to do with your new found treasure and then Saturday you'll spend the day sewing up a project you'll be proud to display, wear, or give away--your choice of project. Start at any time! Everyone was a beginner at one time or another! And what better way to learn the absolute basics of quilt making than with Aunt Cheryl. With over 20 years of quilting experience, she's seen it, sewn it, ripped it out and sewn it over again! Taking you step-by-step (and patiently) through a variety of simple quilt blocks, Cheryl will teach you accurate measuring, cutting and sewing methods, working with you one-on-one until you gain the skills and confidence that you need to be a confident beginner. Once your quilt blocks are constructed, you'll learn how to add sashing and borders to create your very own quilt top. Speak with Cheryl to get started at any time! Quilt Club - Stories of Oregon Towns and Founders 4
In our fourth session of Towns and Founders Quilt Club, we are continuing our focus on the towns and founders within the state of Oregon. Grandma Rachel will guide you through the fascinating history of these towns, how they got their names, their early history, and more. You'll receive quilt block patterns, an informational newsletter and other entertaining handouts. After each session, there is a fabulous FREE lunch of soup, salad and dessert. Class - Kimberbell Bench Class
Cheryl will guide you through construction of those adorable Bench Pillows by Kimberbell. Each month you will work on a different design. The first four bench pillow designs are: September-Welcome Autumn; October-Halloween Boo; November-Gather Together, and December-Deck the Halls. Quilt Club - Boston or Bust
Join Grandma on her Great Adventure! Grandma is bound for adventure as she hits the road on America's longest highway. From Newport to Boston, she'll pack in the fun in every one of the 3,365 miles along the way! You'll learn interesting facts about the twelve states in her journey, discover fun roadside highlights, and as always have loads of quilting fun on what is sure to be one wild trip. Class - Fabric Tinting with Terrie
Local quilt artist Terrie Kygar has created a new technique for tinting fabric that you are going to love. She'll show you her Brush-n-Blend technique for coloring on fabric wit Crayola Crayons. She will also show you how to embellish with embroidery, or alternative embellishments if embroidery is not your thing. Come find out what it's all about. Terrie Kygar, Instructor. Class - Basic Clothing Construction
Choose any pattern you want to make. Mare will show you how easy it is to make clothing for yourself. You'll learn the basics of clothing construction, as well as how to customize the pattern to suit your own unique personality. If you've ever wanted to learn how to sew clothing, this is your class. Mare Goeger, Instructor. September 15; October 13; October 30 and December 29. (Two classes are only $25.)

Class - Hand Embroidery Sampler
Create a classic embroidery sampler as you sit and stitch with Aunt Cheryl. She will teach you how to construct the embroidery stitches needed to make a traditional sampler.
