Class - Applique Open Sew
Cheryl will lead you through the basics of fusible web applique. You can use Grandpa's Farm Block of the Month for the blocks and inspiration, you will learn the basics will creating a gorgeous full-size quilt. Alternatively, bring your own project to work on. Quilt Club - Stories of Oregon Towns and Founders 3
In our third session of Towns and Founders Quilt Club, we are continuing our focus on the towns and founders within the state of Oregon. Grandma Rachel will guide you through the fascinating history of these towns, how they got their names, their early history, and more. You'll receive quilt block patterns, an informational newsletter and other entertaining handouts. After each session, there is a fabulous FREE lunch of soup, salad and dessert. Embroidery Club - Machine Embroidery with Alice
If you love free motion embroidery, you will love the opportunity to sew with Embroidery Artist Alice Morris each month. Her Free Motion Machine Embroidery Club explores embroidery techniques. Alice helps you build your skills and the camaraderie cannot be beat! Note: Free Motion Machine Embroidery is a prerequisite for joining this club. Alice Morris, Instructor. Class - Open Sew
Come sew with Cheryl! For intermediate to advanced skill level, when you're looking for good company and a little assistance with projects you are working on. Cheryl will be in the classroom to offer assistance on many different types of projects, including sewing, quilting and embroidery. $5 per class you attend. Class - Murder Mystery Mini Retreat
The Blackwell family, friends and associates of the late County Blackwell gather for dinner and the reading of his Last Will and Testament. The Count's mysterious death occurred just the night before, when his remains were discovered in the library by his wife Elenor around 1:00 am. Secrets are about to be revealed. You are both a suspect and a detective. Help solve the murder and discover who is the perpetrator as you make a small wall quilt. This is an absolutely fun-filled retreat with camaraderie, door prizes and refreshments of all kinds. Cheryl Libby, Instructor. Two sessions available. (Sign up early as class is limited to 10 per evening and fills up fast!) 6:00 pm - Midnight. Pattern is included in class fee.

Class - Fabric Tinting with Terrie
Local quilt artist Terrie Kygar has created a new technique for tinting fabric that you are going to love. She'll show you her Brush-n-Blend technique for coloring on fabric wit Crayola Crayons. She will also show you how to embellish with embroidery, or alternative embellishments if embroidery is not your thing. Come find out what it's all about. Terrie Kygar, Instructor. Choose any pattern you want to make. Mare will show you how easy it is to make clothing for yourself. You'll learn the basics of clothing construction, as well as how to customize the pattern to suit your own unique personality. If you've ever wanted to learn how to sew clothing, this is your class. Start at any time! Everyone was a beginner at one time or another! And what better way to learn the absolute basics of quilt making than with Aunt Cheryl. With over 20 years of quilting experience, she's seen it, sewn it, ripped it out and sewn it over again! Taking you step-by-step (and patiently) through a variety of simple quilt blocks, Cheryl will teach you accurate measuring, cutting and sewing methods, working with you one-on-one until you gain the skills and confidence that you need to be a confident beginner. Once your quilt blocks are constructed, you'll learn how to add sashing and borders to create your very own quilt top. Speak with Cheryl to get started at any time!
